This application enables easy viewing of personnel information. It is extremely user-friendly and easy to use, and any authorized person, whether in human resources or any other section, may access it. Foolproof access security prevents any unauthorized person from viewing confidential information.
   Scorecards
Among other things, they enable users to follow the evolution of staff complement, length of service, payroll, social charges, overtime, or absenteeism. Various selection criteria can be used, such as cost centers, sections, directions, hierarchy levels. Statistics are drawn from the salary data and presented in the form of statistical reports including graphics. Online viewing permits easy consultation of statistics according to the different criteria, from the general to the specific.
   Budget
This option uses the salary data to enable budget preparation, month by month and service by service, providing for appointments and terminations, salary increases. Social charges can be estimated. Included is a budget control function which enables the identification of all deviations or those that go beyond certain values, taking into account charges that originate in, for instance, financial accounting.
   Absences
This option enables the management of absences and vacations. One can oversee each staff member’s expected absences and follow the history of his or her real absences. Absences can be broken down into type (vacation, sickness, accident, training, seminar, military, etc.). The system establishes both vacation time due and the balance. In addition, it offers the possibility of analyzing statistics on absenteeism according to absence type, service, time period, and of printing annual planning sheets of absences.
   Recruiting
This application enables the management of the pool of unsolicited applications, as well as those that result from a recruiting campaign. General information is recorded as well as the significant characteristics of a specific position. Executive follow-up is automated by the software: historical account of a candidacy events, creation of form letters. The software also enables multi-criteria search for all the candidates answering the requirements of a position in terms of competencies, salary level, availability, etc.
   Appraisal and competencies management
This application uses a dictionary of competencies to enable the evaluation of human resources. The case history of appraisals enables viewing the evolution of a staff member in the different categories of competencies. Comparison of performance, measured for each person against the definition of the necessary job profile, is very quick as it is done visually through displayed graphics. One can then define the training means for each competency, and use these to work out recommendations towards the development of a staff member.
   Training
This application enables the management of all aspects of staff training, by recording the detail of the inventory of courses and sessions offered within the organization. Place, dates, costs, expenses, etc. are recorded for each course. The list of all courses which a staff member has attended and of those he or she would like to or should attend, is given. One can capture a budget by cost centre and the software enables budget control of the real costs of training as against the budget.
